I had a pretty great week. I took my little brother to get his first "real" haircut. I explained to him that there is a big difference in being ok with how you look, and knowing that you look damn good. I think he gets it, he doesn't wear hats anymore and he always sends me pictures of his hair to see if he combed it right. I love this kid

So yeah, later on my brother and I went to a bbq with some of my friends. The thing I love about the people I call friends, They're like family to me. In my world "friend" is not a generalization of "people I know". I trust these people, but I digress. They completely embraced my brother, He had such a good time.
I also talked to my dad for a while the other day, He went off on one of those emotional tangents. "I am proud of you and respect you for the man you've become" yadda yadda.

He didn't understand I was floored. It reminded me of the time he dressed up as a nerd for halloween. I had made a comment about him looking like urkel and he had no idea what I was talking about. So, I proceeded to school him in matters of necronomicon. He feels cooler now because hes got one up on his friends. I can just see it now, "Hey guys, have you ever seen Evil dead?" fuckin goofball
I had a pretty weekend overall, seen some people I haven't seen in a long time. I met one of my friends' eight month old son for the first time. He's so proud of him, you can just tell that he loves being a dad.

I bought new work boots the other day, they're hi tops. I haven't worn hi top work boots in a few years. therefore I don't own long socks. Let me tell you, wearing hi top leather boots with ankle socks is an excruciatingly bad idea.
I finally got a computer, now i just need a camera and a new phone. I am the only person in the world with a generic phone. My phones only function is to call and text people. Well, maybe I'm not the only person, but damn it sure feels like it.
