Sylvia ji has a bunch of new stuff in the works. If you ask me, she doesn't get enough credit for the sugar skull painted day of the dead ladies. As far as I know shes been painting this shit far before it became a craze.

My Grandpa passed away October 22. It went fairly quick. It was like he waited for his kids to all be together. The hours before and his passing are pretty personal, so I'm not gonna go there. This is the first time that I've seen a lot of my family at once and I thoroughly enjoyed every second. We didn't so much mourn the loss of a great man as much as we remembered him. Definitely did not drink too much, I only had two beers, my first and my last. Spent some time with cousins, nieces and nephews; My cousins kids are my nieces and nephews by the way, I don't give a fuck what anybody says. I got my beard braided by my little weirdo. I taught my four year old nephew how to say "Dang Girl!". He was running up and down the driveway because he is just that full of energy. There were these girls next door loading some stuff into their truck and I said, " Hey, you see those girls over there? Say Dang Girl!". Because we all know its cuter when a four year old says it. Pretty soon he was running back and forth yelling "Dang Girl". The more you laughed the more he would say it, he's a trip. He also says "Hi Ladies"

Writing this is kinda making me sad. For all the fun we had, we also felt his absence. I know I'm gonna miss this guy.

This little weirdo right here decided she wanted to braid my beard. It's actually quite relaxing, I fell asleep.

I did end up going to that Car Show last Saturday. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked due to a dying battery and my bullshitting and boozing. I say that like I got drunk or something. I actually do drink responsibly when I'm out. I nursed two brews over the course of about 7 hours. Don't drink and drive

Does anybody know of that transitional phase between consciousness and sleep? Where You're still aware of the fact that you are not yet asleep, but you're already dreaming? That is a strange place. In the past I have actually continued carrying on a conversation while there. Very bizarre things have been known to come out of my mouth when that happens.

I'm fuckin stoked on this trip that's comin up. It's been three years since I've seen this particular friend, even longer since I've had a fucking vacation. Taking my little brother to the drags with some other folks next weekend. I enjoy being the brother I always wished I had.

I was going to write about, you know some intuhresting shtuff right here. then It occurred to me that I'm much better at formulating theories in my head than I am at cohesively transcribing said theories. Ah well, mostly I was just gonna ramble about how tired I am of listening to ignorant, impressionable folks drone on about the election. I'm not a fan of talking politics in the first place, but when I hear people who are incessantly spewing hear-say concerning presidential candidates; as if they had actually done the research that would go into forming a valid opinion; All I can do is face-palm.
