I have a pretty interesting story about open hand actually. Oh man, what a drunken spectacle that night was. So, my buddy and I went to see them play at the dive bar one night many years ago. They were supposed to play at 8, so we decided to show up at 7 and have a few drinks before they went on. Well, a few drinks turned into a whole lotta drinks, A drunken stroll behind Wal-mart in search of a.... I really don't know what the fuck it was we were doing. All that included a confession from my best friend about how he had tried to hook up with my ex-girlfriend, who was my ex when he tried to hook up with her. He started crying and telling me how sorry he was and how much he felt like shit about it yadda yadda. I then told him that I really don't give a shit and that shes my ex for a reason, so on and so forth, after which we had a good laugh and turned the subject to boys kissing. Now, don't ask me how we got there... actually, I think we were discussing a certain girls obsession with guys kissing, I don't know. It was definitely an inebriated only kind of conversation. Open Hand finally played at fucking midnight, at which point we were completely obliterated. Hung out with them for a while, then moved on to palace station so Davey could cash his check. I got lost and passed out on a couch in some lounge that wasn't even open. After that we went to a party at another friends house. That's when things get really fuzzy... I woke up on a couch... holding onto a box of chex like it was a life preserver. Now whenever I listen to open hand, this night replays itself in my head.
Shit has been pretty busy as of late. I have to wonder about the things I do sometimes. Mostly, I'm pretty good at rationalizing, often times I completely disregard the voice of reason in my head. Either way, I don't ever regret anything
