Feeling kind of melancholy at the moment. I couldn't really tell you why, maybe I'm overtired or something.

I had a pretty great week. I took my little brother to get his first "real" haircut. I explained to him that there is a big difference in being ok with how you look, and knowing that you look damn good. I think he gets it, he doesn't wear hats anymore and he always sends me pictures of his hair to see if he combed it right. I love this kid

So yeah, later on my brother and I went to a bbq with some of my friends. The thing I love about the people I call friends, They're like family to me. In my world "friend" is not a generalization of "people I know". I trust these people, but I digress. They completely embraced my brother, He had such a good time.

I also talked to my dad for a while the other day, He went off on one of those emotional tangents. "I am proud of you and respect you for the man you've become" yadda yadda.

Well, I'm nodding off like crazy so I'll wrap it up.
