*sigh* A case of the mid-afternoon boredoms... Last night I did some relative light shopping and planning for AP's get together. It made me pause for trying to remember everyone's dietary restrictions...veggie, kosher, vegan, lactose, ovo-lacto, what-have-you... If you read this, perhaps nudge and leave a 'preference or none' comment. Otherwise, I'll just make tons of stuff that I want to cook and thus eat.

One of the major paperwork difficulties at work cleared itself up somewhat... One of the problems of recent weeks was trying to adapt 15 pages of typed data and documentation into 6 pages of formatted data tables and barely expandable ledgers for notes. It turns out that these unalterable Word documents could actually be 'unlocked' or 'unprotected'. Thereafter I was able to adjust and expand as needed! Those 15 pages of schtuff didn't need to be squeezed into that small space. They could be placed into an equally-sized space once room was made. Kooky! Why no one had told me this vital info the first 3-4 times I'd been sent back rough drafts of my work I'll never know. *grumble*

An outdated thanks to my faithful readers for dropping notes of work solidarity. Being in a constant state of waiting for the shoe to drop or one's shit never being up to snuff have taken its toll. Thoughts of moving, our lease being up, bills & the want to get the school process rolling have also weighed heavy recently. The challenge in the next week and change will be getting my ducks in a row. Hopefully wrangling ducks is nothing like wrangling cats.
