Growing a beard has been like a religious experience, its very strange. I feel like it is the final completion of myself. I feel more like a man but also more like an animal. A beard is the ultimate symbol of the father figure and the leader but is also a symbol of wildness and animality like a lions mane. I feel li...ke I am being more honest with who I am and that shaving is a way of hiding my true self.
