Hey all!
I am running my second half-marathon in late May and my 12 week training program started today! It makes me happy and excited to have an end goal in mind, and some direction on the right way to prepare for it.
Today was pretty simple, an 8.1 km run with 4 X 400m tempo runs separated by 2 minutes of easy running in between. It was a nice way to kick off the program.
Also, I bought my ticket to Australia yesterday! I fly out on the 14th, and have a lay over in Los Angeles for about 8 hours so I might get to see some of LA! Does anyone know what is worthwhile seeing there?
I then arrive in Sydney in the morning of the 16th and my adventure begins!
In other news, I still hate my thesis and my supervisor has convinced me to do an additional presentation on it. Atleast I'm almost finished!
If you could, leave me a comment telling me what your current motivation to keep moving forward is. I'd be really interested to see what everyone has to say!
I hope that everyone is having a marvelous week, and I wish you all the best!
Cheers,
WtW

And I can see that everything will be going really well for you soon as you'll be in Awesomeland! Woo hooooo!!
Somehow I don't think you'll have any time to see any of LA though in 8 hours...when I went to New York we had pretty much the same on the stop over and all we did was refresh in the airport bathrooms and browse the airport stores. But enjoy your flight anyway!
