fun weekend so far! hung out with the grill 'em all burger truck! they were in town from LA taping a show for food network! had some delicious burgers and hung out with some of my favorite metal dudes from NYC and beyond! we had a facebook/twitter campaign going for them and went as far as to get them mentioned on WSOU radio! it was a testament (no pun intended) to the power of metal!

feeling like life has stopped passing me by. finally ahead of the curve and everything seems to be falling into place nicely. heading to san diego and san francisco in less than a week. be gone for 8 days in all and i definitely need the time off. also looking forward to some new tattoos in march. getting two themed pinups on my legs. can't wait! might actually have the artists working simultaneously, which will be sort of neat! going to see propagandhi next month too! last time i saw them was in 1995!!! amazed they are still putting out records. aside from my excitement for the upcoming baseball season, that is all i've got for you. hope you're all well!
hope everyone had a great halloween! i sure did! ended up stopping off at 3 kings tattoo shop in brooklyn (which i also played softball for this year) to start the night. they were doing $31 halloween tattoos from a custom flash sheet. after a little prodding, i somehow ended up with one?
it was fun and i love halloween, so i'm stoked! they were having a costume contest for the folks that got tattooed too...guess who won?
serious commitment to a 'stache for that one! in case you don't know the character, i was the bandit (aka burt reynolds) from the smokey and the bandit 2 movie. i think i won because the guys who own the shop were somewhat obsessed with burt reynolds movies! the prize...$150 gift certificate! looks like more ink in my future?
after that, i stopped in at a roof party that my friend was throwing in bushwick. some over-the-top prog rock band was playing on said roof and it was most triumphant! since i started my workday at 7am, i ended up leaving at about 1am due to exhaustion. couldn't have asked for a better halloween!
