I just finished reading King Arthur, so now I can go see the movie and complain about how much it sucks compared to the book.

I finally picked up Nabokov's Lolita, as has been recommended by so many people, especially Angel.. so I'll start that today, cuz i'm just that big of a nerd!

Some friends of mine from work and I have organized this big soccer match today, but it looks as though it may rain. Some of them know that I used to play when I was younger, andn that I'm better than they think I am, but others think I'm just some crazy white nerdy goth dude. The only reason that I'm not playing anymore is cuz of a knee injury. We'll see

well i'm back from my trip, and i must say that i had a much better time than i expected. yes they are farmers, but my cousin just wants to go out and party after he's done work, so i would just chill with him during the day and at night we'd drive around, find a city to party in and go nuts.

they're fruit farmers, so what they do is grow, pick, package their fruit, then take them out to farmers markets and sell them. if you live in the LA area or just about anywhere in california, then i'm sure you know about them already. and if you've ever bought stuff at one you've probably seen my cousins, or if it was last week then you saw me lol

didn't really get to do much shopping until the weekend, bought some shirts, cds, watches (i have a severe watch fetish for which i need professional help) and that's about it really..

they are planning a trip up here for later on this year, i think it'll be a blast.. they really think that i live in a secluded area in igloos and ride around in a dog sled. they don't realize that toronto is a megacity, 4th largest in north america. lol

oh, and when i went shopping in one store, i took a bunch of flyers for some clubs n stuff, and one of them had Apnea on the front of it, i was like hey i know her! lol well i don't know her but.. you know.. hehe.. if i saw one with Angel on it, i was gonna die and have to move to cali.

i also found out that i have a cousin that's a dj in hollywood, he spins at the dungeon if anyone has been there. i didn't get to meet him, but i just thought it was kinda cool to see how thick the blood is with family that i've never met, you know? the cousin i was staying with, alex, is so much like me, but we live different lifestyles completely. and another one is a dj in a big city, i dunno it was just really weird coincidences

so what did i miss??

when you goto the airport, through the metal detector, do you have to remove all your piercings?

i don't travel at all so i've never had to deal with it..

So I've been home sick for 2 days now

I have to go get my hair cut today, I'm thinkin of gettin a different style altogether, somethin along the lines of the Jay Gordon cut that's been goin around lately, I dunno if I can pull it off though. Gotta find some pics and take them in, see what the 'professionals' say.

Other than that, I'm just gettin ready for my trip to california, comin up really soon. I have to buy some luggage, why? Cuz I've never been on vacation before

poker has been moved to Monday, not really a good or bad thing.. just a thing..

My ex phoned me today, to ask when i was gonna come pick up my stuff, and started telling me about all these dates she had been on since we broke up. was i supposed to care or get jealous? i think that's what she was trying to do, but failed miserably. but now i have to go get my stuff back (stuff consisting of comic books and deodorant, the essentials)

got a playstation 2 yesterday, traded it for my players in the hockey pool. essentially i spent 80 bucks for it.

tomorrow night, we're having a huge poker tournament, no limit texas hold 'em.. 20 entry fee.
