It's been a while since I've posted here, so I think I'll catch things up.
Since last time, I've decided I need to take some time off before applying to graduate school. I've been having some health problems, and my body literally cannot stand the stress. Plus, I need some time to sort out my undergraduate experience, and maybe spend some time on other important aspects of my life (family, friends, work/money, etc.). This is probably a healthier approach overall, and will probably serve to strengthen both my resume, and myself.
In other news, it's my last term of my undergraduate degree, and things are going well. At the very least, my independent study on Deleuze is fantastic, and gives me a chance to finally dig in to one of the most exciting philosophies I've ever encountered. My other courses are fine as well, but the offerings for this term were slightly disappointing.
On a personal note, I'm engaged! My girlfriend and I have been together for about five year, so it's quite exciting to finally enter this stage of our relationship.
I hope to start using this thing moremaybe to talk about more interesting things than the happenings of my lifebut we'll see how things go as the term progresses.
Best,
VV
