So during the week was a lot like the previous week trying to get out a bunch. Went to play a round of disc golf by myself on Wednesday and had the family tag along for an outdoor woods walk. Was a lot of fun and tired the half pint out a bit. Friday night I got done work early, went home, grabbed the family and was supposed to meet someone to sell my golf clubs. Well the jerk off never showed and wasted 45 minutes of my time. Regardless we had a good time walking around to Collegeville shopping center and grabbing Qdoba for dinner. Really nice night really. For the coming weekend I said I would not be working, at least not Saturday because it was supposed to be 70 and sunny and I wanted to be outdoors. And that I was. We started our day off at Boyertown community park where I played a round of discs and the kid played at the playground. When I finished up I went and played with him as well.
Met up with someone from Graigslist to sell my golf clubs. Funny meet, because I was meeting a girl buying for her husband. Her husband gets out and he's the guy that stood me up the night before and gave me a different name. Guess he didn't think I'd check his name on Facebook to see who I was dealing with. Hahaha
After that we went out for lunch and I had a hair appt which turned into a bust. Oh well, turned into some drama with me and the wife and the fussy toddler. But afterwards, we decided to continue our enjoyment of the outdoors. Drove to French Creek State Park and attempted to do some fishing at Scott's Run Lake. Haha, no luck. But a wonderful time for us as a family. My boy was try to fish with Spider-Man rod and checking out the dozens of frogs surrounding us. Seriously it was like amphibian Caligula. Haha. Found another playground in the park and my son did what he does best.... Climb on shit!!
Afterwards we were ready to call it a day so we headed to Grammy and Poppops so the little one could continue playing. I enjoyed helping my father in law attempt to attach his new mulched/chipper to his mower. Boys and their toys, right? Who isn't fascinated by shit getting busted into small pieces.
Honestly this was one of the best days EVER!!! This day is what I wish every weekend or every day was like. Outdoors, great weather, family time and memories.
