I stumbled across this article about French fashion house Lanvin deciding to use 'real people' for their autumn/winter 2012 campaign, featuring former Apollo Theatre dancer, Jacquie "Tajah" Murdock who is now 82 years young!
My first thought was how I wished I could share it with someone, the one person I know who would probably know just who she is, and not only that, but her whole history with the Apollo Theatre or even her history in the fashion world... the one person who could appreciate the beauty in this as much as I did when I stumbled upon it for the first time and smiled.
How fabulous would it be to age with the gracefulness of a dancer! This woman is stunning and proves that style really is timeless... and with three degrees from NYU, she has a mind to match her beauty. Now that is badass!
