The color dims from the wide, wide world
A blanket of gray lies unfurled
The joy of life is diminished in my breast
I do not care of light, night, work, or rest
Numb to all is how I fare
If one calls it that - I do not care
I take the wind into my breadth,
One gust at a time,
And feel a stirring
From deep inside
A channel released,
The dam broken through
My life no longer lost
A blanket of gray lies unfurled
The joy of life is diminished in my breast
I do not care of light, night, work, or rest
Numb to all is how I fare
If one calls it that - I do not care
I take the wind into my breadth,
One gust at a time,
And feel a stirring
From deep inside
A channel released,
The dam broken through
My life no longer lost
