OMG as my youngest would say, why because I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last updated, I have dipped in and out of SG but never seem to have much time to linger and catch up.
So I’m going for the short and sweet (ish) as a means of saying hello it’s me
The biggest thing for us as a family was the Tsunami in Japan, being that my wife’s family and a lot of our friends live there it was very worrying times. I’m glad to say that all are OK and well.
My eldest son did some fund raising stuff at his school and raised over £1800. I made cupcakes and sold them at work and raised £40. My wife and the local Japanese “mums” (some of which still have family missing) organised a “Japanese day at the local scout hall and raised over £3000 (I was on the candy floss machine )
Took my 2 boys (13 & 15) to see the Editors at the Royal Albert Hall, then embarrassed them by dancing, with everyone else apart from them who had that look of “we are NOT with him” on there faces. Amazing gig highly recommend seeing them if you can.
Had a tooth taken out
And finally, for the mo, we are going to Barcelona for a week this coming Monday, and I cant tell you how much I’m looking forward to that. We are going with our friends and their kids so there will be 9 of us altogether and have 2 apartments side by side about half way between the beach and the city proper.
