Happy April to all!
I, like Mr Chaucer, love the month of April, almost as much as my own birth-month of May.
I shall celebrate its opening with this, the General Prologue of the Canterbury Tales.
1: Whan that aprill with his shoures soote
2: The droghte of march hath perced to the roote,
3: And bathed every veyne in swich licour
4: Of which vertu engendred is the flour;
5: Whan zephirus eek with his sweete breeth
6: Inspired hath in every holt and heeth
7: Tendre croppes, and the yonge sonne
8: Hath in the ram his halve cours yronne,
9: And smale foweles maken melodye,
10: That slepen al the nyght with open ye
11: (so priketh hem nature in hir corages);
12: Thanne longen folk to goon on pilgrimages,
13: And palmeres for to seken straunge strondes,
14: To ferne halwes, kowthe in sondry londes;
15: And specially from every shires ende
16: Of engelond to caunterbury they wende,
17: The hooly blisful martir for to seke,
18: That hem hath holpen whan that they were seeke.

My my, the world is an odd place. Ever wanted to see examples of North Korean cartoons? No? Oh well, I'll link it anyway. Enjoy.
This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. Brought a tear to my eye for some reason.
Does anyone know where I can get mead by the way? Seems like yummy stuff.

Its easy to drive snakes out of a place where there weren't any to begin with.
Let's perpetuate sterotypes and get hammered again.

Smoking weed is starting to lose its interest. I wonder if this means I'm becoming an adult? I never thought I would ever be ready to give up my first love, but maybe I will sooner than later. Such a beautiful morning. Orion is going to take a nap cuz Scorpio whupped his monkey ass.
Spring is due soon. I love how cool the air feels this morning; it still has a little bite to it, but one can venture outside to grab a smoke in shirtsleeves, and naked if one were so inclined. 3:30 is such a magical time. Its a wonderful to time to just breath in the quiet. There is no one around, save for the homeless guys down by the creek, and they are all asleep by now.
I just picked up the Lonely Planet Guide To Experimental Travel. It contains some really interesting ideas that may be a lot of fun. I hope I can set aside some time to actually go through with it.

I love YouTube. Its so handy since it means I don't have to be introspective at all.
This song reminds me of several women that have passed through my life (and they ARE women btw). Its probably just a coincidence, but in the past few instances where I have been genuinely comfortable and unafraid to show affection, this song has been playing. So yes, invariably, in the background of hot make out sessions, "Lola" always seems to pop up. Good times and bittersweet memories. What came unbidden was an unexplicable pang of guilt or remorse. I wish I knew why.
The switch to graveyard shift has gone alright. It tends to cut into one's social life, but since I didn't have much of one to begin with, I can say I am not displeased with it. In any case, I am something of a misanthrope.
