I hate to say phrases that make me sound old, like when your grandparents used to talk about how they remember when the television was first invented and how every family only had one. So here is my complaint, I spend $63 yesterday to fill my truch up with gas. 63 FUCKIN DOLLARS! It was $3.59 a gallon. I remember when I was 18 I got it for 97 cents a gallon. Damn oil and its short supply. Im buying a hybrid.

In December my best friend came to Sac for a visit and brought his six month old son with him. We went to the downtown mall and I got my first experience having a child strapped to me as I strolled through the stores. I felt like a suicide bomber with a ticking time bomb on my chest. Its sort of appropriate since a baby is as unpredictable as a bomb. Everything worked out fine though, he's a good kid.

Do Not try to take your contacts out when you are drunk. It feels like the corn scene in Life Stinks. I was pushing the contact in my right eye around for like ten minutes.

Im so over this cold weather. Granted, im stoked that I got to go snowboarding twice this year already. Im just tired of waking up in the morning and it being so fucking cold.

Has anyone seen Cloverfield? I want to know what the monster looks like, but I dont really want to go see the movie. I was just so bummed that they didnt show it in the preview. It made me mad that they are keeping it a secret. I know I know, that was their marketing scheme. "Lets not show the monster and that will get people to come see our movie." So has anyone seen it?

We had the craziest storm yesterday. The wind started at 2:00am and didnt quit until about 5:00pm. The news reported the winds at 71 mph at their strongest. At one point in the day I drove around and saw trees, fences, and traffic signs blown all over the street. I stopped counting at 30 downed fences. Two of my fences are leaning and wobbly, hopefully they dont fall down tonight, we're expecting another storm. I stayed in all day yesterday and I played videogames for a while. We lost power three times while I was playing, good thing my game autosaves every few minutes. Hahaha. Here are some photos, from yesterday, posted online by the Sacramento Bee.

Well since my Thanksgiving experience with my parents sucked Im staying home for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Its just another Monday and Tuesday for me, the only difference is that they are paid holidays. WHooo Hooo! So I think Im going to go see I am Legend today and have some friends over tonight for some drinks and a Christmas Eve Guitar Hero jam session. So Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy the holidays.

I hate Holiday's! Your family almost makes you feel like an asshole if you dont want to see them on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I havent seen my follks for almost three months, and as soon as I get to my parents house my Mom starts giving me shit. "Nice to see you, you look good. It'd be nice if I saw you more than twice a year." And the worst part was that she was hassling me and my gf for drinking, saying that we would have to stay the night, and when I repeatedly told her that we werent she immediately got upset. We werent taking shots or anything wild like that, we just had a few beers. Then she said grace and asked God to protect those people who have been drinking on the drive home. I almost lost it. Im so not going home for Christmas.
