I passed my exam today! This was the biggest hurdle so far to become an art teacher! I'm so happy and excited right now!
Snowquestration here in the "Top" of Virginia... it sucks, just lost a day of work and most likely will lose tomorrow as well. Mother Nature is a bitch!

Just caught the midnight showing of The Hobbit... HATED IT!
Why? I've read the book a few times and loved every word that Tolkien wrote. What Peter Jackson did was rape that book thoroughly. The movie does have it's moments, "Riddles in the Dark" being the best moment in the movie by far... The rest is Jackson becoming the slave to Hollywood action. He also tried too damned hard to tie in to TLOTR trilogy. Just very dissappointed with Jackson's latest offering.
I'll give you this, Jackson is one hell of a moviemaker but he should have left the storytelling to the true master, JRR Tolkien.
A big double thumbs down from me.

Three months ago today my friend Sarah was murdered. Today they released the cause of death... a gunshot wound to the neck.
The day she died, a firefighter stopped to investigate smoke coming from her home and quickly called 911 because the house was ablaze. The scumbag who shot her started the fire in an effort to hide the evidence I guess. The cops still have not arrested anyone. Her family and many of her friends are very angry about this, I am too.

It's two months later and the police are still no closer to find my friend's killer,,, I'm just stunned, all we have heard from the po po is "We are waiting for the results on the forensic evidence",,, they told everyone at the start that it would take 6 to 7 weeks... and here we are in week 8. WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?! I think the local police are a bunch of fucking morons, 2 months and nothing? Are you fucking kidding me? What happened occifers? Did you mix up the evidence with the box of fucking donuts? Soooo angry.
Just can't get into these Olympics... and is it wrong that I really dislike the US Men basketball team?
