No news on my friend. Police have the FBI involved now and they are talking to a "person of interest" who "is cooperating" but still no closer to solving this thing... Grrrr.
Oh Dear God I'm so sad. I found out today that a former coworker and friend was found murdered in her home Monday morning. Sheriff's office said the cause of death was from a fire they believe to be deliberately set. So now they are looking for anyone that has any knowledge of the time and incident. The particulars were, she lived alone in a rental in Upperville, Va. or Route 50 in Fauquier County. A firefighter saw the smoke from the fire at 8 am Monday morning. So, that vacation was way too brief! But it was great! I loved kayaking on the lake... damned my ass hurt the day after! It was great seeing the nieces and loved introducing them to noodle fighting. Can't wait to see them again in November... this time on their turf in California!
In three hours I'm out of here! Heading to Blind River Ontario for a small family gathering. Mapquest says it'll take me 15 hours to drive but I'm sure I can do it in 12... okay, maybe 13. Sadly trip will be brief since I must be back here to teach Monday morning... just hopefully I'll be getting my AC fixed by then.

Well, that was one for the ages... Met up with a Fuck Friend in the woods near a bar we both know... sparring other details I looked up just to make sure we were not being observed and a grey fox was checking us out, about 30 yards from our location. Talk about getting close to nature. It stared at us for a minute or so and then took off. We had to head back to the bar, shared some beverages and had a good laugh about it.
