Um...wow. Someone brought me back from the dead. I don't know why he/she would do this, but thanks! I'm going to try to make it worth the money you invested in me.
Dear vegetarians: I'm sorry that I ever snickered at your notions of food and what to consume. I'm slowly becoming a very-reluctant vegetarian. I can't even explain to my friends why I don't like eating certain types of meat or why I'll only eat certain parts of my certain animals. It's getting more and more narrow each day.
All right. So I have to admit something to you guys. For a while now (years) I haven't been good with this journal because I figured no one would be interested in a journal that didn't have many pictures. I don't have a great camera, so I'm not inclined to update this as much as I would like to. I'm sorry guys and girls, but I'll try to snag something good from Circuit City now that they are closing. I have something decent, but I'm embarrassed to carry it because it's like a small brick. Anyway, I'm hoping to update you guys with something a bit more than an excuse soon. Take care.
Hey guys. I know I've been piss-poor with my interaction on this site. I haven't really posted anything worth reading in forever. I think part of the problem is the fact that I don't have a decent camera (that isn't like a brick in my hands). Things are much more interesting when pictures are attached. I won't let this be an excuse anymore.
So the big thing that has made my life better? Well, I ended up losing my job at (insert big Pharma name here) and not long after (2 weeks) I actually had to decide between two new jobs. I chose the one that was in RTP and as a result I've moved to Cary. It's a lot closer for me and it really seems pretty awesome. I'm actually doing stuff that I've been wanting to do for a while.
Since I've gotten this new job I've decided that I should start taking classes again. I'm going to see what classes I can take so that I can try to get into graduate school.
Life seems to be moving ahead!

Well, I guess a tardy, inebriated post is better than nothing.
Things since my last post... I have a fixie bike. For those who are unfamiliar with the term "fixie bike" let me translate. Fixie bike = death trap. Anyone who rides one is crazy/awesome or both. Unfortunately I don't have pictures since I'm away from my camera at the moment and at a friend's house.
The job aspect of my life... where to begin. Nothing has changed. I'm still a temp. I'm working on finding a permanent situation for me. I whole-heartedly know that permanent doesn't mean PERMANENT, but instead it means employed indefinitely. Indefinite employment is what I want.
I participated in the Raleigh Typhoon again! I had a blast. I'm going to post pictures when I get the chance. (Don't hold your breath. I'm seriously trying to do better about this stuff.) I had a blast again this year. I rode my fixie instead of my Goliathesque urban freeride rig; much better choice.
All right guys and gals. I'm going to end this before I fall asleep at the computer. Later on peeps!

Ok, so quick update. I had an interview at another place and hopefully I'll have a good job soon. Massive update later, but first: Is anyone else going to be doing the Raleigh Typhoon 2 this weekend? I did it last year and had a blast. This year I'm going to be using something a little different than last year to get around town... Will show next update! (Soon!)
Ok...so my last post about a journal update wasn't true. I thought it would have been, but unfortunately not.
I have to admit that I'm very much concerned about the big layoff that is occurring where I work tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted as to whether or not I have a job for a little while longer. I also need to update my profile picture; that thing is entirely too old.

Hmph...sifting through 17,000 songs finding the ones you really like is a daunting task.
To those who went to the SGNC party recently:
<--- me.
Let this be a lesson to me to get the proper information BEFORE the day of an awesome event. I missed seeing people, having fun and I missed Spike too!
