this is one of my favorite quotes. show me one of yours?

The Pearl
Said one oyster to a neighboring oyster, "I have a very great pain within me. It is heavy and round and I am in distress."
And the other oyster replied with haughty complacence, "Praise be to the heavens and to the sea, I have no pain within me. I am well and whole both within and without."
At that moment a crab was passing by and heard the two oysters, and he said to the one who was well and whole both within and without, "Yes, you are well and whole; but the pain that your neighbor bears is a pearl of exceeding beauty."

Ah the pain that is artistic burden, the most nessicarily unnessicary pain.

"What my neighbors believe is good I am profoundly convinced is evil, and if I repent anything it is my good behavior that I repent."

ok, good point.

I was born there, hit my full height there, lost my virginity there, fell in Love first there, had my first few apartments as somebody old enough to vote and drive and drink there...

but somehow ended up out here.

The growing part, I hope never stops, but I can tell that it does for more people than not.

I'd do some jocky chant like "Go BULLDOGS!", but that was usually what I was hearing those guys yell as they chased my eyeliner wearin, mohawked punk ass across the football field, so I don't have a real strong love for the school's team name.

That'd be churchill. Where'd you move back from?

That's awesome. One of mine was always this little ditty that my mom qouted.

A wise old owl sat on an oak,
the more he saw, the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard
Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

It was a polite way for her to shut me up, and it worked.
