As for real life. I am almost done my practicum...hich means no school til Oct. I was hired on with the company that I was doing my practicum, I am back in the gym, and getting back into shape.
I STILL love summer, and need to buy a new car.....soon I hope.
In sorta sad news, we are just waiting for my g/f's Grandfather to die. He is making his peace with people it seems, after a lifetime of being a poor excuse for a human....a cheat, a liar, a fraud, an abusive husband, father and grandfather.
He has always been nice since I have been around, but he was a Grade A- son of a bitch most of his life.
He has cancer and will die soon. Don't get me wrong, everyone is sad and will mourn his passing, but it has been interesting and shocking to watch him say and do things to mend a lifetime of fences.
I say "sorta" sad news, b/c his death will not be a surprise thats all.
Here is a question....if you read this far..... my g/f has two cousins who are 11 and 9 years old....no one has told them about their grandfather and his cancer....they USED to spend 1-3 days a week over at his house....but have not been over in over 2 months...with no explanation.
Their parents say it's to "protect" them.....
Most of us say, Tell them!! They are old enough to know, and understand, and they may be more mad when they realize they could have had the chance to ask questions and say goodbye- like everyone else has been able to do.
What do you think?
I'm so glad to hear you're going to have a little bit of a rest here soon. You certainly deserve it. So you're coming to Denver during your break from school, right?
and yay no school until October... I think I missed that the first time I read this... lucky!
