I keep coming up with all these iphone issues, so rather than flood twitter or the iphone group, I thought I'd post them hurr:

-I dislike that we can't change the apps the iphone came with, although someone taught me to add another black screen and move all the ones you don't want over there.

-HATE that texts aren't all time stamped.

-when i view the main list of recent texts, i can't see if the last one was from me or another person.

-texts just show up on the screen without warning.. instead of just a ringaling warning, the embarassing/private texts just pop up for everyone to see.

-i wish there was an indicator showing i have a message waiting, instead of me having to turn my screen on/off

-i do like waking up to the bell tower sound

-NEED google reader app

I got my iphone!! I even got it in midtown Manhattan in one hour. YEAHHH!

Right now I'm agonizing over ringtones in itunes. I thought Radiohead, but there are only 2 choices, neither of which I like. No Pixies. I'm gonna go nuts and personalize everyone's ringtone. My dad gets 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' because it used to be the only cassette tape he had in his car. Mom..dunno? General incoming call ringtone... dunno? Maybe Spoon? I want something positive but not obnoxious.

I'm also playing around with the app store. I got the myspace, fb and aim apps.. let me know if there are other must haves. I want a good rss reader.. Is Google Reader on there? I NEED it to be. I also need a Flickr app, which exists somewhere out there. And I have to figure out how to get rid of the apps on the home screen that it came with. Like stocks. I already know my 401k is all -%.

One more thing - I've tried twice now to get into One Hundred Years of Solitude. Today I read it while waiting in line for the iphone. I'm finding it difficult. What gives? What's wrong with me? Am I a stupid? It's an OPRAH'S CHOICE..sheesh. I will make one more respectable attempt at the beach.

One of my least favorite types of people, you ask?

Those whose public or private or Internet personas is based on bragging about drugs, alcohol or sex. And the belief in their own badassery when it couldn't. be. more. boring. I wish I could muzzle them all.

jezebel is the bee's knees. it is like sassy magazine for the internets. in the past few days, they've had posts about my favorite version of alice in wonderland - the one from 1985 with sammy davis jr and patrick duffy and john stamos and carol channing and scott baio and sherman hemsley and basically everyone else who was alive.

and a post about writing fan letters to your celeb crushes, which i TOTALLY did. in my tweens, better known then as 11-12ish, i wrote basically everyone who was alive. i got christmas cards from the clintons, a handwritten postcard from ethan hawke's grandma and autographed 8x10s by everyone from bob barker to the governator.

and, finally, today the posted something about the celeb family feud, which i would never, ever watch except! that yesterday they had on all the girls from the girls next door. and i just love them. so i watched. but now i don't feel guilty, cuz so did the other jezebels.

Do any of you use jojobo oil and/or tea tree oil? I'm at war with my skin and just bought both products. I think I'm a fan, but I should be looking for long-term, not immediate, results. If you use it, tell me how.

I voted for Obama. My absentee ballot for Indiana just came today(!) and I assume my vote will win our primary and thus his nomination.

A dude of super hotness just poked me on Facebook. Naturally, I poked him back.. but I'm not even sure what that MEANS. It seems like a stupid step pre-requesting friendship step. OR like "I am looking at your profile, but you don't know it, but I kind of want to do it with you".

The worst thing in the world - Pre-dawn flights
Makes me saddo - Seeing our troops at the aiport pre-dawn, because I don't want them to not make it a round-trip just so I can eat my Freedon fries.

My new years resolutions are to renew my passport and use it and to decide who I want to vote for before Jan 3rd, so I won't be tainted by the results of the Iowa caucus.
