On the subject of marketing Angelina Jolie's movie "Salt" being released on DVD/Blu Ray. If youre able to advertise three different versions of the film with multiple endings, Im moved to believe the story isnt that strong in the first place.

One day youre an X-man, fighting bad guys and saving the world, the next day youre showing your tits on Cable for a bad miniseries just to make a paycheck...
If that isnt a metaphor for life, i dont know what is. True Blood is the newest HBO miniseries, meant to take the place of great stories like Deadwood, Rome or the show origionally created by the same team, Six Feet Under.
If I had to sum it up in one word, Id say "garbage" pretty much makes it happen... in more words id be moved to say its the most over-acted, poorly staged melodrama with nothing to fill the gaps beyond so many boner jokes.
Origionally it was billed as a show that was, "A real world, just like ours, but vampires have existed for centuries and are no longer a myth".... but theres also a psychic... and a werewolf... so yeah, just like our world but theres werewolves psychics, vampires, lucky charms leprechauns and my personal fav, Black and gay stereotypes.
