Well as of the seventeenth my account will expire. It's been a fun ten years with lots of ups and down on my life. My divorce will be finalized in November and a new chapter is opening and I can't wait.

Well, a lot has changed.

Fifteen years of marriage gone and we're both doing fine.

Well it's going to be a busy month or so.

My days off switched from the middle of the week to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For the last two years, Missdates and I have had conflicting schedules, now that I'm back on weekends off we can spend more family time together. Hopefully it brings us closer rather than butting heads about things.

Last weekend was in Vegas, had a great time. I go again the beginning of next month for my best friends wedding (I'm the best man).

I leave for training tomorrow for physical fitness instructor. It's something I'm excited in doing.

Going to see the Foo Fighters tonight.

So yeah, going to see how being off the weekends is going to be. If I don't like it, I can always switch back I guess.

Hells yeah, getting that itch again. Going to go talk to my artist and see about getting some new ink done.

Well shit Sheriff; one more year down.

Well this weekend we leave for Disneyland. We leave Sunday morning and are going to hit the Magic Kingdom during the week. The fun thing is we haven't told the kids that we're going. Missdates and I have a plan on telling them that I have training in California and then surprise them. I'm excited on seeing their faces. Will try for pictures later.

This past weekend, one of my close friends and Brother from the Department passed away in a single vehicle rollover. He was the lone occupant and was killed on scene due to his injuries. We were good friends and his passing has affected everyone dramatically. My oldest daughter saw how badly I was shaken and tries her best to comfort me with hugs and kisses.

This morning she hands me this piece of paper and tells me to give it to my friends wife and kids (he was single with two kids.) The note was hand written and goes as follows;

"from: Brandolyn Baeza
to: Romes (His nickname was Roanie) wife and kids.

I'm so sorry that your husbined died and father my dad was really sad too but lets face it he shouldn't be asleep while driving.

Love, Brandolyn Baeza"

Once i finished the letter, i broke out laughing and part of me wanted to cry. I showed the letter to Missdates and she laughed saying "Our daughter is sweet and insensitive like a Sour Patch Kid!"

I love my kids.

I'm not one for updating but what the heck.

Getting ready for this weekend. Missdates and I are going on a vaction to Austin away from the kids. I have to admit, I'm actually excited. Never been there and have heard nothing but great things about it. Looking forward to nothing but experiencing new things while there.

One thing that her and I have done is getting our finances in order. Now we're at the point where we can actually take more than one vacation in the year.

So hopefully when I come back, I have much more interesting things to say.
