i have colour!! got this done last saturday and i am really happy with it. after what felt like months of choosing, i finally decided on pink and turquoise for my peonies. only managed to get two flowers coloured as i was booked in quite late at night, the third peony i have decided, is going to be a deep navy fading to a lighter blue at the tips. i was worried the pink would make me look too 'girly' but i love the shade of pink he used and i'm really happy i chose it now.
sorry for the not so brill pics again, but it's fucking hard trying to take a pic of your own arm at this angle.
when i was waiting in the shop for my tattooist to set up a group of emo kids came in asking for random prices on things and saw me sitting there. one of them started taking the piss out of me asking if i was getting a butterfly done or a tweety pie, then my tattooist came out and got me to show them my arm. when they saw it, they certainly shut up pretty fast. tits. Edinburgh just seems to be over run with emo's now. arrghh
aaanyway, hope you like the pics, it was done with a pneumatic machine as well this time and seems to have healed a hell of a lot faster than it has done on previous trips.

yay, more work on my arm yesterday.....i was really nervous for some reason before hand which i've never got before. anyway, he decided not to do the colour and to leave it for next sitting so he got some shading and more outline work done. i was relieved about the colour coz i'm still a wee bit unsure, i am pretty much 95% set on turquoise and pink but then i keep seeing all these other colours i like and it sets me back.....guess i should stop looking at colour ideas!

as you can see i'm one of those people with an expensive camera who has no clue of how to use the features! but i hope you get the idea of it. i was in for 4 and a half hours and he had to do a lot more outlining again as i seem to heal really shit - he told me off for not getting enough sleep, which is something my mum nags me for, so she thought this was funny. my boyfriend hates the fact that i'm tattooed and doesn't believe me when i tell him my parents don't mind.....what i never told him this time was my mum actually gave me some money towards it!!

Ok people, i have my next sitting for my sleeve next wed and i am STILL totally clueless about what colours to choose so i really need some opinions on the colours i'm thinking of using. Colours are for the peonies on my sleeve - have a look at the last blog if you never saw it.
Im thinking of a deep pink and teal mix, what do you think? would that work? also i'm not much of a pink person but i love the way japanese sleeves look with pink flowers which is why i'm considering it. I've had long talks with my tattooist about colours and am still undecided!

I finally got my half sleeve started on wednesday and i am totally in love with it!!! Was in for a good 4 and a bit hours. first hour was spent getting the design drawn onto my arm, then i had the whole piece outlined in grey and then he went over most of it again in black.
I expected my inner arm to hurt like a bitch - based on what i've heard from people here - but i actually found it to be not that sore. It sure nipped to start with but it wasn't what i'd call really painful. Even my armpit wasn't too bad, just stung a bit more!
I'm already thinking of extending it to a 3/4 sleeve but not sure whether i should hold off on that or jus get it done now. sorry bout the crappy pics but i can't find my digital camera so these were taken on my phone camera
it's hard to tell what it is at this point! basically it's 3 peonies with water bars and waves going over the flowers and wind bars which will stretch down to inner elbow.

I am so fed up 
i have shit loadsa uni work to do an not enought time to get it done in. Got a major review to see what stage my collection is at on wed an so far haven't even finished the patterns for my garments and i'm meant to have all 6 outfits toiled!! ARRGGHH! don't know what the problem is but i have no motivation just now to get anything completed. another major concern is that in 4 months i will have to get a job. That in itself is no big deal but there are officially no decent fashion jobs in Scotland so i will need to move. I'm applying for an internship at a magazine in London but not sure if i really want to live there long term. I REALLY want to move to Barcelona but need to get my spanish up to scratch again, Which is REALLY difficult when you don't have anyone to practise on!!!! The only thing that's keeping me excited is the thought that i am getting my half sleeve started in 32 day's...yes i am counting them!! I can't wait.

ooh i'm so excited....i finally booked a slot to start my half sleeve. i have been wanting it done for SOOO long but jus never had the funds. of course i still don't really, it's my student loan that's actually paying for it

well seen as uni is OVER for xmas thought i'd do a wee bit of baking.....they turned out better than my last efforts neway, at least this time they never looked like frankenstein cakes!! spent the last few days catching up on some much needed sleep....ahhhh bliss. forgot how much of a zombie i turn into wen at uni!!
gonna have to get some serious designing done for my collection though in the nxt few weeks, not lookin forward to that. an xmas 4 me is officially off. don't you hate it wen u think you have money an then check ure balance only to find that ure overdraft is totally maxed!

i have a new cat and she's sooo cute! not had a cat for a few years after my last one died so it's a bit weird having another one. her names molly, i never named her. she's 11 and she acts like she knows she's gorgeous! isn't it funny how they do that apart from that nothing else majorly exciting has happened. still on the pro plus due to the uni work which jus seems never ending......... but i guess i'll get it done. i always do somehow!!
