Wow, December already. Time where have you gone? Thankfully only a few more Christmas gifts left to buy and I'm done for another year...

Back from vacation and back to work. Cali was a great time, first time in San Fran so i basically ate and drank my way through all of the mom and pop restaurants lol. I started my new job last Monday and so far its pretty good. The hours are definitely more flexible and forgiving than my last one Thats all that is really new on my end I guess. Adios!

2 weeks left and then I get a much needed vacation while I switch jobs I can't wait! Heading out to San Francisco and Palm Springs for 2 weeks, should be a great time!

Home at last I got home on Tuesday but I've been cleaning the house and getting everything back in order so it seems like I stepped off the plane yesterday. I'm definitely not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow but it should hopefully be a short week, and at least its not the Middle East anymore!

Only a few more weeks till I'm back home!! Not soon enough, its already 110 here during the day!

I also found out I may be going to Ottawa mid-June for a conference for a few days. Anyone from/been there that can recommend things to do while I'm there? Daytime will probably be spent in meetings so night life/bars and whatnot would be appreciated

Well its once again been forever and a day since the last blog, one of these days I'll get better at my frequency, but probably not.

Less than a month till my birthday, then less than a month after that till I finally get to back to Jax. I can't wait to hit the beach.

Thankfully North Korea hasn't started World War III yet so things have been mostly quiet this deployment so far, but we'll see how everything pans out.

Okinawa is a pretty cool place, have only been able to leave the base a handful of times though, but I'm looking forward to exploring.

That's really about it I guess...

Only a few more days till I deploy again for another 6 months. Back to the desert again, but at least this time I get to go to Japan first for a few months. Though that may actually turn out worse if North Korea keeps doing crazy shit, but who knows.

I'm just glad to be getting back to the simplistic life of deployment, work has been kicking my ass lately.

Hopefully I'll be able to still get on here every once and awhile over there...
