Girls confuse the hell out of me.

For 3 weeks we talked every day, all day. Everything was smiles and happiness. You liked hearing the words "us", "we", "our"... Texting, phone calls, skype, so much communication. We planned a weekend together, three whole days, and it finally came. You drove three hours to be with me. You got here and I kissed you first thing, I held you tight in my arms because nothing in the world mattered at that moment except for you. Three hours later you said you had to go back home to see your friend before she returned to the air force, I was bummed but, understood. Now you hardly say anything, one or two word replies. You say everything is fine but, it doesn't feel that way. I'M SO LOST. I don't know what to do, I don't know where I stand. My chest feels like a pit of sorrow. I hate feeling like this.

I'm a man who believes the one true thing in life that matters is LOVE.
So why does it have to be so difficult for me.
