Erm, because it's a good way to say stuff that you might not get to say to people in real life? I try to get out the stuff on my blog that I wouldn't normally say to most of the people in my life.
I'm with Marvel, I like the freeing feeling of being able to write what I think. It's also helpful to put your thoughts into words, sometimes you realize angles of something that you hadn't even thought of.
