not the greatest pics in the world, but I had a few problems. Anyway, for mother's day I created a blood orange, chocolate cheesecake, with a dark chocolate biscotti crumb crust, and covered it with a chocolate cinnamon Kahlua grenache, and, of course topped with fresh whip cream... what else ?????




For anyone that was curious, yes, another cheesecake is finally on the way. My guess is Thursday, after the Voice's three day run. At the moment, my plan is a blood orange chocolate cheesecake with either of the following toppings: blackberry, pecans, caramel, or a variation of each. Still up in the air if you have any ideas.
Just found out one of my friends is undergoing chemotherapy, and will be for the next 6 months, because the previous surgery didn't work, so I am not at the top of my game. Whatever that means, I have no idea how to react, or what to say. I guess that it's just life, that is what I tell everyone, but when you start losing all your friends, it's just very rough. But we all know that the best thing is just to put it out of our minds, and just move forward !!!

About to set sail on the latest cheesecake creation. Right now I have fresh pineapple, pear, mango and kiwi soaking overnight in Myers Dark Rum and St. Germain liquor. That will be used in the body and topping of the cheesecake. Of course it will be covered in a dark chocolate, pecan shell.
I call this Redemption. Here is my newest and possibly best Cheesecake creation, after several, in my opinion, disappointing attempts ( and for those that know me, YES, I hold my standards way too high). This one goes back to what I thought was the best and most decadent of combinations: Dark Chocolate, Sage Honey, Expresso, Amaretto Agave, fresh Blackberries, Myers rum, Mocha Kahlua, and Stevia roasted Pecans, and of course extras not mentioned. I am very happy with this one......finally !





At the moment I am stumped. I am attempting my first savory cheesecake. With a goat cheese base, and am struggling to figure out what to use with it. I know it will come to me, but at this point, I am not against accepting help.
