Get this. I'm actually updating and actually have something to post. On Tuesday night, March 20th, a friend of mine from Austrailia and his daughter who are also perfomers agreed to come to the pub where I hang out and ended up putting on an impromptu show. I've had a couple of his albums for a few years and have never actually seen him play live. Of course he does all of his performing in every other English speaking country in the world.

I had known him for a few years before I found out how famous he is outside of the US. Some of my cousins from Scotland were staying with me a couple years back and while we were sitting around partying and yaking. My cousin Bobby is telling a story and stops mid-sentence and points at the pictures on my wall and yells,"How the fuck did you get a picture with him?!" All four them (2 guys, 2 girls) jumped up and ran to the wall, ripped the picture down to give it a close examination.

Them: "That's not him" "The fucking bloody hell it's not, that's fucking him!" etc, etc

After confiming that it was him, all four of them turned on me...

Them: "You cunt!", "You fucking bastard! How the fuck do you meet him and you don't tell us!?".

Me: "Hey, I met him through work. He and wife bought a load of equipment from me. They are great people. They were in the US visiting their daughter. They came in the store and we had a great time. We took pictures and that's the one they sent me. Why are you guys so jacked up?".

Them: "Wait, you actually fucking conversed with him and you never mentioned to us! You fucking bumbag, we ought to kill you! Do you know how many times we've tried to see this guy at home when he's been in Scotland or England? And you fucking run into him at your store and don't even know who the bloody hell he is do you!?

So they tell me how he is a huge comedian songwriter and performer and how they are huge fans and I'm an evil git for not telling them about it.

To bring it to the point, my friends and I got to see the outrageous funny Kevin "Bloody" Wilson and his daughter (also an absolute riot) Jenny Talia from Austrailia perform live at An'Seanachi Irish Pub in Blue Island, Illinois. I know many of you have no idea who the hell these people are, but I'm sure many of my Austrailian and UK friends do.
