So, Linzy and I were "Evil John McCain and Sarah Palin" last night at a costume contest. We won the $300 first prize! Woohoo!!

Pictures from Saturday... If you don't live around here, you don't know that all morning and afternoon it had been pouring rain... it stopped just after we got to this place, while I was proposing... and started again afterwards... so cool..
So here we are. Our faces hurt from smiling by the end of the night. And what would a blog be without a picture of our newest additions?

Today I asked my Linzy to be my wife, and she said YES!!! It stopped raining long enough in this beautiful spot for me to drop to one knee and propose. Once I get the pictures of just afterwards uploaded I promise to post them!

Linz and I have adopted two little baby boy kittens! They're brothers, and we just couldn't separate them.
Here are "Claw-de" and "Paw-blo" (yeah, after Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso.. yep.. we're dorky). We brought them home last night. They're so cute!

yes, my Linzy and I are moving in together.. Its really exciting. I am looking forward to less stress relating to finances and the actual move itself. Life, it seems, has become a blur of remembering dates, keeping constant track of my checking account, trying to make Linzy feel less stressed and exhausted from working so much, and figuring out the future, one day at a time.
This step feels right and I hope its something that only brings us closer together. I'm so worn down, emotionally, mentally and physically, I can't sleep right, and then when I do I sleep for long periods. I just want us to be in the apartment so we can start this next part of our lives together. I don't feel like myself and Linzy is not herself either.... i want US back.

We watch way too much HGTV (yes, its true) and we have so many cool ideas about what we're going to do with the place.
Obviously, though, we've all moved and we all know that its a stressful thing no matter what. We're lucky its like a mile away!
