"Words can never fully say what we want them to say, for they fumble, stammer, and break the best porcelain. The best one can hope for is to find along the way someone to share the path, content to walk in silence, for the heart communes best when it does not try to speak". - Margaret Weis
An apology by way of an explanation. Yesterday I posted an announcement in which I stated it was tough to watch a family member die. I received many kind words and well wishes, which I appreciated.
But I do want you to know that I, like so many of you, consider your pets as part of the family.
Annie, the last surviving cat that my mother brought into our household, died last night. By my reckoning, she was approximately 15-16 years old (we were unsure of her age when we got her).
I knew what was happening, I'd seen it before.
Just to let you know, the rest of the family is fine, except maybe our hearts are a little emptier.
I apologize for the confusion.
Rest In Peace, little one. You've earned it.
