People say stupid stuff all the time, especially on the internet, because they think they can get away with it and never have to feel remorse or see the person in real life and account for their actions. It's just a way of trying to be more than they really are. People are seldom so outspoken in real life. Don't let the actions of a few dictate what you do with your life or the amount of enjoyment you get out of being you. I know it's hard to just let the comments roll off your back sometimes, but remember: you are happy with you and that's what really matters.
