Now it's story time.
As some of you may know, my e-mail account is on AOL. (I'm sorry). As you may also know, AOL is owned by that bastion of "journalistic fairness and integrity" the Huffington Post.
The other day I was reading a story posted and afterwards, as I am sometimes, wont to do, I was reading the comments, one of which I felt compelled to post of reply.
Well, I received a response from the author of the comment, who basically told me that reasonable discourse was "beyond my capabilities". And to that I say.....
Maybe they're right.

Handled well, sir. Some people (the respondent in your story) just doesn't have a grasp on the finer points of point-counterpoint ... as is evidenced by your "nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah"!!

That band name IS pretty great. The music's not bad, either. It inspired me to do a jig in my living room, which I really should have been dressed for. Nobody wants to see my taters and carrot flappin' around.
Against my better judgment, I have a habit of reading the comments sections on almost every news article I read. On rare occasions, I feel the need to respond to a comment posted by someone. With near 100% accuracy, I regret that decision almost every time. Most people on those threads really don't seem interested in civil debate. However, I know you to be fair-minded person with a great degree of civility, so I'm quite sure the other poster earned your "Nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah".
