The following are some of my favorites from Oblique Strategies, a card set by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt, originally produced in 1975, and subtitled "over one hundred worthwhile dilemmas". These are from the revised 5th edition, produced in 2001.
1. Try faking it.
2. Once the search is in progress, something will be found.
3. You don't have to be ashamed of using your own ideas.
4. Remove ambiguities and convert to specifics.
5. Be dirty.
6. Give way to your worst impulse. (See #5)
7. The most important thing is the thing most easily forgotten.
8. Accept advice.
9. Define an area as "safe" and use it as an anchor.
10. Short circuit. (example: a man eating peas with the idea that they will improve his virility shovels them straight into his lap)
That was fun, now I feel like dancing
No I said dancing....
