Jury duty always seems like a waste of time

And, while I know - - deeply and personally - - what a drag jury duty is, on a personal level, it's really vital to our judicial system. And, as broken and screwed up as the whole system truly is, a jury of lay citizens is absolutely essential to our democracy. So, as a lawyer, and a patriot, I (for one at least) thank you for your service. I'm confident that's worth more than any monetary compensation and free/reduced parking you may get as a juror.

I am far from scared of needles. I call myself a human pin cushion. I even know all the doctors and nurses so well in most hospitals in my area that they affectionately let me call them "vampires" when taking blood. Some of them run when it comes to sticking me, though. Even though, I am not afraid of the needle mentally, I think subconsciously my veins are. They are tiny and roll every time I need blood drawn. So it is usually a long, tiring process that I and the doctors like to avoid. I hate when they are taking blood and they are like digging around in you like it is nothing. It makes me angry, in fact! I mean come on, just because I am not screaming and or crying does not mean you aren't hurting me. As far as tattoos are concerned, I am contemplating getting my first one. Just a small little math equation to represent a little bit of my personality.

i break into a cold sweat when i get pierced.... but tattoos don't bother me in the least

thanks...sometimes tho..i just feel like a schoolkid, shuffling my feet with my eyes downcast and mumbling...there are a lot of confident guys on here and i just think...wow...i can't compare to that...and my stilted attempts at making first contact with the girls on here just make it seem worse...grrrr, i hate my shyness!!.
