Last night, my boyfriend was in an accident. He hit a patch of ice and lost control of his truck, causing it to roll into a ditch, coming to a halt comfortably nestled in the snow on the side of the road, upside down. After unbuckling himself and falling head first onto the ceiling, he crawled, bloodied and bruised, through the shattered window and into the snow. Once he safely reach the outside, he realized that he had forgotten some very important things inside of his upturned vehicle. So back inside he crawled. First, to retrieve his cigarettes (and promptly light one) and second, to find his phone so he could call 911. Priorities people, priorities.
He is okay, just whiplashed and sore, but he is very very lucky. The truck was totaled, and most of his belongings still pepper the side of the road. But, thankfully, he is almost completely unscathed. Because he is so tall he was sitting too far away from the airbag for it to do any real damage (other than a fat lip), and he was wearing his seat belt and obeying the speed limit.

And I am very lucky that he is still here.

Don't EVER buy another Ford Ranger. He's lucky to be alive and I'm glad he is!
