One more summer workshop done. That means I have 4 hrs completed towards my senior block.

I am damn sleepy. Went out on a kind of date, didnt get home until 1am, got to sleep at 2am then woke up at 5 to complete my presentation for class at 8.

Going to take my girls out to eat.

So, I have been involved in this relationship for about two years now. It is kind of a tragic love affair. We had a blow up on Sunday night, and we didnt talk yesterday. Amazingly, I am very calm and confident and I feel this had to happen to get things on the right track even if it means we go our seperate ways.

The old Scooby Doo cartoons from when I was a kid are so much better than the new ones. Especially the music score.

I need to get off my ass this morning and start doing some chores...

I have one two day class at the end of the week that counts towards my senior block.

I have a fear of being alone, but I dont NEED anyone either. If that makes sense.

Damn, I went to go for a bike ride and I had a flat rear tire. I pulled it apart, found the puncture, was going to fix it but realized I dont have any patches I will to go the shop tomorrow and get a new tube, and patches. The new tube will go in, and I will patch this one as a spare.... Sucks.

Another crazy dream, but this one wasn't mine, but it was my oldest daughter's. First some background information. Our cat Raven died last June, I still dont know what happened to her, all I know is I found her in my wood pile hurt and hurt bad.
Ok. and I met this bad ass girl in my Creative Writing class named Kate. Zoe (my oldest) met her a couple of weeks ago when we bumped into her shopping.
Now for the dream.

Zoe dreamt that Kate (only her name was Mandi in the dream) was sick and passed away even through she was really young. Zoe decided to go to her grave and there was a rainbow coming out of it going into the sky. As she watched, Kate began to ascend into heaven on the rainbow, so Zoe stopped her by asking if she would check to make sure that Raven Lovato, our cat, was ok. Kate agreed and went up to heaven. A few days later Zoe recieved a letter in the mail from Kate saying that she had seen Raven and the cat was doing perfectly fine in heaven.

Zoe was crying just a little bit when she told me.

My oldest daughter woke up, called me to her and told me "Happy Father's Day" and then went back to sleep.

Today I will just hang out with family, and probably get a couple of bike rides in with the girls...

I need $$ so I can put together these two classic Schwinns. They just need wheels and tires to be done.

I need a job too just to surive, but it is hard to find one where I can get one Friday off in a couple of weeks, and two weeks off in July, and then quit in August for my normal job and school.

Also, I need to diet just a little and start training again. I would like to lose just a little bit of weight and get back into shape. Time to lift again.

I am having bizarre fucking dreams. BIZARRE. Three nights in a row I have had dreams that make no sense and there are cameos by women that I have been interested in dating the last little while. Yeah, and last night I managed to drive my Tercel through some mud and water that came up over the hood. I was trying to get to my best friend who was stuck farther up the road and the National Guard was rescueing him. The look on their faces when they saw the Tercel where their trucks were was funny.

It is official. I am an English major.

I restructured my classes for next semester, and have 15hrs, all of which are English classes. I now have The Bible as Literature, American Literature, Major Authors, Ethnic and Minority Literature, and The History of English and Grammar.

I bet the end of next semester is going to be DEATH. I look forward to it

Encouraging news, I hope it all works out...

I went to back to school in the fall of 2007 as a Elementary Ed major with an emphasis in Literacy. I have decided that I would much rather be an English Major because I love literature.

If I change my major to English (Liberal Arts) I could drop my Math and Education classes for next semester, take nothing but English classes. I would then enter the Spring 2009 semester needing only 21 hours in English to graduate. Also, I need 12 credits in anything subject as long as those classes are higher than 300 level. At the end of this summer semester I will have 9 of those 12 taken care of

This week I will meet with the head of the dept and go from there. I would then seek alternative licensure to become a teacher, saving me time and the hassle of student teaching (which you do not get paid for). I would have to try harder though by volunteering time to teach so that I would have the classroom experience I need, but do it while I am working and going to school so that it is not a financial drain.

I feel good about this, it could put me teaching sooner than later....

My first bike ride with my two girls

Zoe has a new Specialized Myka MTB now, Paige has a little pink Diamond Back BMX. I walked at first, but found if I was on my bike Paige would pedal faster. It was great. Kind of a short ride though, tomorrow we are actually going to go our and ride and work on one of the ones I am restoring. It is supposed to be a bicycle day.

Oh, and I havent told them, but I plan on taking them to the movies
