Ohh ya, Built a 3ft quarter in the driveway.

So I went to my cousin's wedding over the weekend in East Texas. I love my family but half of them are rednecks and I grew up in Austin. This of course creates some differences, but not really any conflicts. Mainly because for civility we keep the religious and political talk to a minimum.
So everyone in my family knows my cousin and I are the last two boys to pass on our last name. I don't care that much but then again I do. So he told me which I suspected that he is gay. I told him that was cool but could he bite the bullet and squeeze out a couple boys with a girl so I don't have bear all the burden. It was a joke of course. Now it's all up to me. This sucks. I'm already 30 and not ready to have kids anytime soon. Well, I guess I still have time. Maybe I'll just extort money out of my family with threats of ending it all.

I always decide to write on this blog when I need to go to sleep.

Normally I kind of dread the looming Texas Summer. This year I'm looking forward to it. Last summer I got excited about going tubing for the first time in years. I was stressed out and just wanted to just float and drink. We all know that the rains last summer closed many of the main rivers down. It was great for the green belt which I spent many a summer day, but I wanted to float dammit. So I am ready to float this summer. Maybe I can bring it up to the SG Austin group and get a posse together as soon as the time is right.

So I was at a party last weekend. I knew most of the people there but only vaguely. I moved away to go to college around the NYC area and stayed for 6 years. I now have my old friends and a new group of people that I can only define as acquaintances.
I of course solved my anxieties about meeting new people by promptly getting drunk. This breaks down a lot of barriers that otherwise stand in my way.
The party picked up around midnight when the dancing started. I danced, drank, and watched some drama.
One of the girls there thought it would be a good idea to start making out with a guy other than the one she came with that night. I guess their relationship was not finalized. The guy not sucking face sucker punched the guy who was. After the huffing and other gorilla grunts were over the fight quickly broke up.
All I could think was, I'm too old for this shit, and ohh, I need another beer. I would much rather do some booty dancing with a girl with a nice round butt than watching this child's play.
Never the less it was fun. Future plans: More dancing, less fighting, and hopefully much lovemaking.

Back after three years. I've always been in the background. I can't pass up looking at all the beautiful ladies. The thing is I will always be here as long as the site exists. I won a flash banner contest back on the old site design and have a free life time membership.
I'm trying to more social. I think I'm even going to attempt to go to a SGAustin event. I always had a good time going to the SGNY events.

Long story short I am recent single again after 3 years. Tonight I went to a friends party and had a pretty good time. We had a mini dance party in the kitchen. It's very weird being out on the dating scene again.
I'm in the peculiar situation of wanting to have relations without commitment. Yet I'm not really down with the one night stand. It always makes me question a person's own behavior. How many times has that person partaken in that reckless behavior?
I guess I will try not to worry about to much and be personnaly safe and go with the flow. -Jacob
