End of an era, and blog #1
So, in two weeks, my new life (yet another) will start in London. I've been in Gabon for the past 11 months, mostly bored out of my mind, thinking about when i'm next leaving. And finally it's happening.
It's been an interesting time, not without it's drama and excitement, and i'll certainly miss some things. I never thought i would have been singing again and it was absolutely fantastic. In 3 months, without any practice, we went from a band that made a lot of mistakes to one that was filling a bar. The adrenaline rush.... i'm going to have to try and get that from something else in the future! Guys, i'll miss you, maybe we'll play in London some time (although there's certainly a lot more competition!).
Still, for all the good things (rare that they are), i can't wait to get the hell out of here.
