I know most people don't want to read a sad mopey blog but I need help..
I'm losing a friend to lung cancer and I don't know how to cope. I don't know who to talk to because none of my friends understand.
The doctors have given him 3 years maximum and I'm scared the time flies by and I'm left feeling like not enough of my time was spent with him.
If you could tell me anything to strengthen me a bit,Please do.

The only thing that has helped me cope over the years with my loved ones dying is rethinking what I believe of Death itself... As of meow, I would focus on the fact that your friend is still alive... Celebrate the fact that you are both alive! Live these days with excitement and action and love and hope because to be really honest, all of our days are numbered. Just because we don't know the number doesn't mean there is no limit. You can deal with the grief when they are gone but for meow, just live each moment like it was the greatest thing you have ever done.
