Not a lot to report today. Spent most of the day waiting for a phone call which never came. Wish people could actually keep their promises, and return phone calls when you return theirs.

Did give me a good excuse to listen to some cd's from the back of my collection, that haven't seen the light of day for a while. Few gems unearthed that I had forgotten about, and also a couple I wish had remained hidden.

Thankfully, due to the magical healing powers of alcohol, my annoyance at the phone situation has subsided, or become slightly blurred.

Found out that a certain Mr Dave Grohl, current drum-god-whore is pimping his services out to Mr Trent Reznor for the new NIN album. eeek eeek

Ok, maybe thats old news but I just found out.

Also found some interesting websites for the little backwater I was spawned in. Amazing how much you take for granted about your home, which some people find interesting. whatever whatever

Have been doing a bit of recovering from the weekend. Must try harder in my attempts to curb my drinking. 3 day hangovers are no fun any more.

Hind sight is always 20-20, But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy

Hmm, today I've mostly been listening to Down 'NOLA', Filter 'Short Bus' and Alice in Chains 'Dirt'. Ordered my ticket for Velvet Revolver at the end of August. (Much excitement).

Have to go back to Brigadoon tomorrow. Should be interesting. Nothing lkike a trip back to Hicksville to make me realise just why I left. Remember the banjo player from 'Deliverance'? There are at least 5 of him where I come from.

Never mind, don't do it too often, so am sure I will survive. frown frown frown frown frown

Went to see my old band play the barfly in Glasgow last night. frown frown frown

Old memories of being on stage came flooding back. Never mind tho. Their new bass player is much better than I ever could dream of. Just have to get over the fact that my music career is never going to go anywhere.

Have to admit we used to sound better as a five piece.

Ow it hurts. Really chould cut down the drinking of whisky. Or at least put something in it.

Inside of my head feels like this.

Think some re-hydration is in order then maybe move onto solids later in the day/week.

May head up to Loch Lomond tomorrow. Depends on the (shitty) weather.

Well, it's still raining.

Work still sucks, and going to the gym is still tiring.

At least I have help from my friends Jim Beam and Jack Daniels to brighten my miserable existence.

Just got a digi cam t'other day so may even post some pics soon.
