my beloved son, kamaGii Sebastian died last nite
at 4:40pm of auto immune hemolytic anemia.
which means his body was killing his red blood cells.
proof that life is unfair: my baby was less than 3 years old.

- le sigh.
a wasted weekend. wasted weekends really wreck my nerves. friday was actually quite nice. i had my own celebration with the ending of finals & kicking ass. some friends & i went to Friday's for drinks, good, & each others' company. after many red bull slushes & gin & tonics we headed back to the house & proceeded to have drinks. i fell asleep watching The Departed.
saturday on the other hand was bullshit. the Del A Hoya boxing match on PPV lost my attention quick so i snacked on celery & ramen noodles until we headed out to La Vela to hear Dj Icey spin. apparentally it was $25 to get in & i was the only one of my friends that had to pay because i never bought a VIP card. after taking dozens & dozens of pictures with my girls one of my guy friends got into a fight with one of the guys that my lady friends came with & so we had to leave in fear that the guns & knives would make an appearance. we stayed at the club about 2 & a half hours before that happened. what a waste of $25.
summer semester starts tomorrow. back to hard work.

it seems like there is less & less to do in Panama City. although the city has much potential they are building ridiculous amounts of condos on our beaches which is raising our taxes & the cost of living every year. i know ill be around to see much of this town develop while i finish my education & i am excited to see things to come. since we inhabit an air force base people come & go & good people seem to be hard to come by. the good ones you do come across last a lifetime in your heart & its unbareable to see them go.
education: im keeping my options open about all medical fields. i keep bouncing from nursing to sonography to surgery & i think ive finally made my mind with surgery. i have enough resources to fall back onto sonography or nursing. the great thing about this town is its so easy to get to know the people that will help you out in the long run. my education is partly successful due to these people. i just finished spring semester & that gives me only six days until my summer semester begins. ive chosen two classes that will help me in both nursing & surgery.
there will be plenty of clubbing & kitesurfing this summer. i know it.
