Martha Davis (b. 15 January 1951) was a pioneer female artist of the 1970s and 1980s. She foundered the Motels before embarking on an unfortunately brief solo career with the album Policy. Here are some lyrics which have personal significance just now:
"Late at night when no-one can hear me,
I reveal the way I feel pretending you're near me.
You've got somebody,
There's nothing I can do.
Can't tell you I love you,
So I tell it to the moon."
