no matter where you are or what you are doing, when two guys with guns drawn and cocked start walking towards you, your heart skips a beat or two.....when you are in Israel, it skips about 100 beats......

but i survived that little incident and now i'm back in new york for a day, then back to california. purple kool aid for everyone!!

anyway, i just landed in tel aviv, its 4 am and i can't sleep. so i guess i will just sit here and say "go michigan...."

on the flight back from san jose i crossed over 3 million miles on delta. as a gift they are offering a suitcase or some stupid glass bowl. they should be giving me an ipad or something.....

anyway, at least i know i'm cool.....

well CRAP. after only three days it's become painstakingly apparent that i am not moving to london. i'm moving to california.....yuck......well i suppose it could be worse......now i have to redo my entire zoosk account.....

on another note, what's up with the whole "cowboy" look? i kind of thought that was over. but i just saw one -- cowboy hat, silk shirt unbuttoned to the belly button, big gigantic belt buckle, tight jeans.....not that i am against it -- do what you want to do. it just seems odd to me for some reason....i couldn't stop staring....someone tell me that they think its hot or attractive to be a "cowpoke...."

anyway, thats not today's problem. i'm off to tel aviv......fun in the sun....

ok so normally i am not the biggest fan of california. but 75 degrees three days in a row; sunny; running outside in a tshirt......its not so bad after all....

and of course the coup de grace -- In-n-out Burger......

back in the US for a few days......crappy easter weekend (i hate easter for lots of reasons, some of which go back to when i was 8)......then San Francisco then Tel Aviv then back to London.

rock and roll.....so much for cutting down the travel. ain't gonna happen

i've meet some really awesome friends on SG, and most people are pretty level-headed and together.

but there are exceptions......whoa nelly there are exceptions......

at snowy heathrow heading off to dublin for the night. see a band, drink some guiness - you know, the usual....

on another note i am trying out Zoosk -- what a shitbox of tomfoolery that is. i want to take those stupid coins and flog somebody with them......

my new job is amazing. AMAZING. i had really high expectations -- and the place is well hyped -- but it exceeds even my highest goals. its just stunning what happens when you treat your people well and do everything you can for them......

on top of that i am totally grooving on london. going to see deicide tomorrow night, eels thursday and flying over to dublin to see yo la tengo on saturday.
