having a beer at the Sao Paulo airport. this isn't how this day was supposed to go, but who's complaining -- devassa isn't the worst beer on the planet (that would be qulimes), and in the end i'm going to make it to brasilia tonight. 7 hours late, but no worse for the wear......

i overslept my flight this morning. hardly a surprise - it was supposed to be at 5am, and at midnight last night i elected to just turn off my alarm and "let it fly." well it flew. without me. its not like anyone is ever in a hurry to make it to brasilia.......including me.

i did, however, complete my mission and added Argentina to the countries from which i have a tattoo. thanks to everyone for the recommendation -- tattoo america was the place. i forgot to take a picture of it though -- but for the record its a storm cloud with a bolt of lightening coming out of it, with Jambi from the Pee Wee Herman show in the middle of the cloud. don't ask me how i came up with that........
