It's official, I am no longer working in restaurants. As of Friday, I have said goobye to a career that has stretched for nearly 14 years. This last job at a local brewery was the hardest to let go.
Saying goodbye is never easy, especially saying goodbye to a group of people who have sat in as your second family for the past 3 years. I realize that they are only a half hour away from me, but with a 36 hour a week school schedule, I will not be able to spend as much time with them as I would like. Ahhh... nothing like attachment.
I four months, I will be walking around with my head a bit higher due to a completed college education. I realize that the bartending life will be far behind me at that point, but I'll never forget my friends.
