This is the letter I got from the college today:
Dear Mr. Sith
Thank you for applying to this college's Radiologic Technology program and Congratulations on completing all admissions criteria. This year the college received more applicants for the program than seats are available. Therefore, we are unable to offer you a seat in the program at this time. Since you have met all the admissions criteria you have been placed in an alternate group for the Fall 2007 semester. Your application for the Fall 2007 semester will be considered if a seat becomes available.
Although your name is on the alternate group list you will remain in your current program. You may continue to take courses applicable to the Radiologic Technology program and, fallowing the guidelines in the enclosed Health Careers brochure. You may submit a new eligibility form to be reconsidered for the Fall 2008 semester

This is it. In about two hours my vacation will come to an end, it's back to work for me and Tuesday it's back to school.
So this week I had diner with the parental units, hung out with some friends I haven't seen in ages, saw my first opera, and spent a day in NYC.
Saturday it was off to NYC with shems_76, bluerook88 and Kevin. We hit a couple of museums and got sushi before heading over to thescaryfaery's place to bid her a fond fairwell before she heads off for Ohio.
All in all it was a good vacation but, it's back to reality.
Work, school, and no sleep.

St. Patrick's Day Weekend
What could have been a really craptastic weekend was salvaged thank to Shamus76 , and Bluerook22. Shamus gave me a call Friday morning just after it started to snow and suggested I grab some things and get my ass over there before the roads got too bad. So I grabbed only what I would need...three set of cloths, my laptop, and my X-box '

Friday was spent gaming, drink, and watching movies.
Saturday was more of the same toped of with a good I9rish dinner of bangers n' mash. Later, we ventured out the bars to celebrate St. Paddy's with a pint of Guinness and a shot of Jamieson. The first bar was a little lame so we opted to go to another bar.
Bad idea!!!
The second bar went was a much lager bar so we should be able to find a table and relax. That however was not the case. This place so packed that you chose but to get up close and personal with the five complete strangers the were rubbing up against you. I mean sardines don't get as close. It took us fifteen minutes just to make our way back to the door. So it was back home for us were we watched a classic movie about Irish brotherhood...Bondock Saints.
Sunday it was off to Shamus76's house for cornedbeef and cabbage were I got to see Scaryfairy before she heads off for Ohio.
This is what St Paddy's day is all about. Good friends, good food, and good drink.
Only one thing could have made this weekend better...
