So I had a coffee date and a dinner date with this woman I had met on Match, and I think things are going well. We were supposed to go catch a movie on Sunday (yesterday). Unfortunately, she had came down sick Wednesday evening after our dinner date, and so she had to cancel. Now, she had told me on Friday that she had been sick, so when she canceled it wasn't a surprise. However, there is that small insecure part of me that is whispering things like, "Look, she probably found someone else and she's just trying to let you down easy," or, "Why would someone like her like someone like YOU?" Granted, I haven't done anything stupid like text her a million times or post all over FB and IG about it (hence why I'm venting here, since it's "safe" to do so), but still... I know in the grand scheme of things, this is foolish to worry over, but I think that's when our demons prey on us, when we should know better but get blindsided anyway...
