It's been a week, that's for sure.
Surfed everyday, ankle is on the fritz so running is a no go, gotta get that checked out if I intend to run a marathon in 3 months.
The surfing seems to have no adverse affect.
Well, I should be heading out, it is time to paddle out as I type, so I am for sure lagging.
Later=)

Fuckin' shit, I haven't updated this in ages, though most of the people who would actually read I talk to daily, so no reason to other than indulge in my self importance =)
I am a freelance writer and coach now, no more PR for a bit, gives me more time to train and surf.
I am writing a few new scripts, let's hope one gets picked up, no?
I have pretty much nothing to say, just getting situated in the new apartment and really hoping the water warms up because I have been doing a lot of surfing recently.
I will post pics!

Surfing is fun, and we started playing baseball in the park as well, so that is fun!:

working from home today.
I woke up to go on my swim this morning, and my little sister was sick, so I stayed back from work to take care of her. I told the little bugger that when she feels better she owes me a workout. Before you think me harsh she IS training (beginning to rather) for duathalons, so it is not a heck of a demand, She's gonna be a fast little one, probably pass me up in a few years if she keeps working.
Anyway, with her sick I called in last minute and had to let Aram take over the showroom. He is the owner of PRedator Cycling, the company that employs me and also makes my racing bicycles. woohoo PR work! So with all two hours of me doing work, I had the rest of the day to veg in front of the couch and watch old movies, which is something I have not had the time to do with all of the my training. I am up to 25 hours a week, not including time spent on the cycle outside of spinning, once it goes up, I am not quite sure how it's gonna look once I actually get into my races, we'll see wont we!
After I got out of training last night, I went and played rock band 2, it rocked, I sang eye of the tiger like none other!
Alright, enough with my scatterbrained rambling. I must go and finish watching a movie with my sister, then tonight, is a cardio class before playing Rock Band again. Laters yo!

Hey there party people!
Fun weekend! Went down to San Diego to surf with Katiesq and Rin and it was pretty sick. Rin had gotten a tattoo recently so alas, she just sat on the shore, unable to surf, but Kate kicked ass her first time on a surf board.
We then went grocery shopping and made Vegetarian perogi (so good) and had a nice dinner, it was a most enjoyable evening with friends.
Today I got a pre-contract job offer from my current employer at an alternate position, which will be working PR for the R&D team of a concept bike that is being created as I type. I am extremely excited, and looking forward to this job like none other, there will be a lot of good to come from moving up to work there.
My training is going well, as is the status of pre-sponsorship for my Iron Man race. I have to rais about a thousand dollars more in order to cover all of my fees and plane ticket, my bikes and suits are already taken care of thanks to Predator Cycling, and now more training has to happen, I just signed up for the L.A. Marathon which will take place on my birthday, so at least I'll be a cheap date that night from being overworked and spent from the marathon. Now I have to enter the Malibu sprint series, and the olympic length series coming late May of next year, I have a hell of a lot of mile to cover between then and now, so wish me luck!

I am terrible with this blog, with any blog, ever.
Who am I kidding with this thing? I simply must re-create the podcast. Actually that is one of the MANY things I am working on right now, an inside look at the comic end of business, a podcast called Friday's in INK. (a podcast from my local comic shop, Comics INK.) It is fun, and we must actually get to recording our little soapbox in a podcast friendly manner.
Look for it soon!
In other news, I am bored at work, I do PR and such for a friend's High end cycling showroom and inventions firm... also a bit of consulting on patents. That is what I do for a bit of the week, and I am also coaching High School Polo and doing private tutoring with Elementary school aged kids... that on top of my Iron Man training is a full load.
but while bored at work I found these:
Sneezing baby Panda
and theseAwesome
Shoooes
Little bored right now.
yup

SO, day two at con is awesome. Last night I became a vomit centaur.
Upper body of a golden god, lower body, vomit. I was woken up with Jordan cleaning Cooper's vomit off of my legs, and thus I am christened with the title of vomit-centaur. I will post pictures tomorrow or Monday, I just had to let SOMEONE know.
cheers folks, see ya'll later.

Alright, well hello party people!
here's the deal, my training buddy fell off the face of the earth, and I blew out my knee, but I just jumped back onto the training path after being out for a full two weeks, I MUST stop sparring, just for now, once I am a bit stronger we'll be good, I took a sweep to the knee, and it hit harder than I thought, but good times, I am fine!
$th of July yielded an awesome party, and I am a bit hungover and cleaning right now. (kinda)
I am coaching my old water polo team, and it is fucking great, I am having my first REAL summer off in ages. I went to Vegas last weekend, and SD the weekend before, and back to Vegas next weekend to bring home some serious loot.
I need to go for a swim, but that won't happen till tomorrow, too much cleaning. Also, assuming all goes well, I might be able to buy my own house at the end of summer, or the end of the year, wewt!
well, cleaning beckons, cheers ya'll.
-hot damn!

So I have been in Pre- Iron Man Training for the past month and a half, I have a new training buddy, and I am working pretty hard.
We cut out beer, and enriched flours/sugars, and are going to be doing the camp pendelton race series this summer. My goal is the 2009 Hawaiian Iron Man, and a Qualifying time on the first Iron man we race (beginning of next summer, in order to Qualify for Hawaii)
In case you aren't sure as to what an Iron Man is, it is a 2.4 mile ocean swim (between two islands in this case) a 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run...my training is still in it's baby steps.
Lots of good times.
Got an easy summer job, I am coaching water polo and swim conditioning at my old high school (and not working at the elementary summer camp) I am also working on the cartoon as avidly as one can. It seems as tough this summer is trips everywhere: Vegas, Mexico (suuuuurf!) Hawaii, and possibly Canada (half Iron man Qualifier we might be able to get into.)
All that's left is to hit a few bars, listen to some awesome music and go a little clubbing, and all seems as though it will be golden.
Love you guys, talk to you soon.
